DR. UMMAT

Dr. Ummat, who joined Northwest Face in 2006, relocated here from the Carolinas. A graduate of Dalhousie Medical School, where he also completed his ENT specialty training, he brings 13 years of comprehensive ENT practice to our team. Dalhousie Medical School is consistently rated as one of the top 3 ENT residency programs in the country. Dr. Ummat also completed additional training at Bowman-Gray, Duke and Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Ummat has extensive experience in evaluating and treating ENT disorders. He uses the latest in microsurgical techniques for hearing restoration, advanced endoscopic techniques for nasal and sinus surgery, minimally invasive somnoplasty for snoring and sleep apnea, and small incision surgery for removal of head and neck tumors. He is a meticulous and methodical surgeon who is concerned about both the cosmetic and functional well being of his patients.

Dr. Ummat is married and has three children. He enjoys skiing, tennis and sailing. His passionate hobby is inventing, and he has several inventions currently being patented.
