Training your auditory system

Today I want to review a topic I've covered before: the ability to train our auditory (listening) systems. The LACE is a home study program that we have offered for over a year now. I wonder how many feel it is only for those who wear hearing aids. Of course those with damage to this area to the point that hearing aids are recommended show tremendous improvements in speech understanding in noise with auditory training, but those who are not yet ready for hearing aids also show

Fillers Erase Six to Nine Years

Injectable fillers can help erase roughly six to nine years from a patient’s perceived age, as new research (Dermatologic Surgery 36(3):322-328) showed. Findings were based on blinded analysis of photos of patients taken at baseline and two and four weeks post-injection. Sclerotherapy in the spring

It is becoming popular for franchise-type purveyors of "cosmetic surgical procedures" to heavily market themselves. These facilities often have no state licensing, have no reputation in the community, sometimes have unknown doctors that fly in from another state, have been in practice for less than 3 years, and more often than not, have doctors that are not board certified in cosmetic surgery (or often no doctor at all at the facility.)
Washington state does not regulate this.
