Do you know the ABCD's of melanoma detection? That is
A for Asymmetry,
B for Border irregularity,
C for Color change or irregularity,
D for Diameter changing (it used to stand for diameter greater than a pencil eraser size (6mm), but about half the melanomas found are less than that).It is a useful tool since 85% of melanomas are flat and often follow this rule. But it is not enough if you want to try and catch the most dangerous type of melanoma call Nodular Melanoma.

Lead in your lipstick?

Avoid lead exposure in your lipstick. The FDA has found that many lipsticks have lead in them but do not regulate the amount (they think it is not consumed).I beg to differ, if it is on your lips I am sure you are ingesting it as well, especially if it is applied multiple times a day.
