An article in the New York Times published yesterday casts doubt on the widespread reported incidence of food allergies in the general population. The article states that the true incidence of food allergies is 5% in adults and 8% in children versus the approximately 30% of people in the general population who self-report food allergies. Consider downloading a sound level meter app onto your iPhone. For as little as $199.00 these come pretty close to the "real thing." There are many different ones (and I have not heard of any that don't work), but most commonly used are: SPL Meter, Decibel Meter and SoundLevel Pro. Compare pharmacy prices- Bartell Drug and Costco in my area are usually the lowest. If the drug is generic and you have a Co-Pay, always ask what the cash price is. I went to Walgreens once and picked up a medication that would have cost $7.50 if I paid cash, but they charged me my $20 drug Co-Pay with out telling me.
