Melanoma is by far the deadliest from of skin cancer, it causes more than 75% of all skin cancer deaths. The disease is currently the sixth most common cancer in the US and the number one cancer in young adults aged 25-29.

I just read a fascinating article about a team of Spanish researchers who are investigating the ability of humans to develop echolocation skills like bats and dolphins by recognizing the echoes of oral clicks. The application will be to aid navigation for vision-impaired persons.
