First impressions - fillers can help.

This was a fun study on first impressions that I read recently. They took 19 people and took pictures of their faces (in a relaxed pose). Those pictures were then evaluated by 300 people who filled out a survey rating them on several characteristics. The meilolabial fold, also called the nasolabial fold ( the furrow that runs from the side of the nose to the corners of the mouth) was filled with a hylauronic acid filler substance until the fold was at optimal correction. Botox vs Ultherapy

I have been asked about the difference between using Ultherapy and Botox on the eyebrow areas:
At times Botox and Ultherapy end up with similar benefits even through the mode of action is different: Basically, Botox achieves results by relaxing muscle cells; Ultherapy by stimulating collagen cells to reduce creasing skin around the eyes. Increased collagen improves the tone and lifting of the skin for open and refreshed eyes.

Artefill - A permanent filler

I have used Artefill for several years and like how it sculpts the face. I have seen patients that had Artefill 12 years ago and the filler is still going strong. Its use in the parenthesis-like lines around the mouth and to lift the cheeks works extremely well.
