How well do YOU sleep?
Posted in Otolaryngology on April 26, 2010
We spend 1/3 of our lives sleeping, yet often we neglect problems concerning sleep. As recently highlighted on MSN.com, sleep disorders are very prevalent in the general population. Fortunately, treatment strategies do exist for the majority of sleep problems. Three common problems that we frequently encounter here at Northwest Face are snoring, upper airway resistance syndrome, and obstructive sleep apnea. There are many variations in upper airway anatomy that can contribute to these three problems, and many surgical and non-surgical options exist that can help address them. We here at Northwest Face have many years of experience in dealing with sleep-related problems. A better night sleep not only allows you to feel more refreshed during the day, but can also lead to better long-term health benefits.
Thank you, and take care.
Sincerely,
Nilesh Shah, M.D.
