Some tips on keeping your prescription costs low:

Compare pharmacy prices- Bartell Drug and Costco in my area are usually the lowest. If the drug is generic and you have a Co-Pay, always ask what the cash price is. I went to Walgreens once and picked up a medication that would have cost $7.50 if I paid cash, but they charged me my $20 drug Co-Pay with out telling me. If the drug is new and no generic is available, then check out the drug company's website - they often have coupons that help defray the cost or take care of your Co-Pay.
