Dermatology is the specialty dealing with diseases of the skin, subcutaneous fat, hair, and nails.

Board-certified Dr. Julie E. Voss heads Northwest Face's high-tech, state-of-the-art medical clinic. Dr. Voss was voted one of Seattle's best doctors by Seattle Magazine and volunteers to educate residents as an Assistant Professor at the University of Washington. Being an expert in dermatology allows for accurate understanding and therapy choices for each individual. "Our practice is geared towards scientifically-based, corrective therapeutics. We offer the most advanced as well as successful techniques and medication strategies." If you have a skin issue-be it rashes, skin cancer, wrinkles, growths, blotchiness, or redness-we have great options that we tailor to the patient's needs and wishes. Lisa Miner, PA-C (Certified Physician Assistant with a Master's degree in healthcare) has been a valuable partner in out team since 2000. Ms. Miner helps all types of general dermatology patients of all ages, evaluating skin rashes and growths, and performs skin cancer and mole excisions in the office. Ms. Miner originally hails from the Southwest and obtained her graduate education in the South at Emory University in Atlanta. Ms. Miner is a popular provider in our clinic because she is a very caring individual who gives her utmost to find and deliver the best care for her patients. Her education and many years of extensive dermatology experience and close consultation with Dr. Voss allow her to give excellent care even in patients with complicated diseases. Ms. Miner has performed countless successful vein treatments (sclerotherapy) for unsightly spider veins for many years.

Gary Beerman ARNP, PA-C, (yes, he is actually both an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner AND a Certified Physician Assistant) joined NorthWest Face in 2006. Mr. Beerman concentrates predominantly on aesthetic treatments, although he sees general dermatology patients. Mr. Beerman has won himself countless dedicated patients for his expertise with various our our lasers, and his always good humor. Gary also specialized in fillers and Botox.

Shane Keck, PA-C, joined NorthWest Face in 2008. Shane obtained his master of Physician assistant degree from Wichita State University, in Wichita, Kansas. He completed his graduate research project on the topic of artificial tanning and the added risks of skin cancer, as well as completing an internship at Cascade Eye & Skin Center in the Puyallup, Washington area.
