Tanning Beds

Hooray! California law now makes it illegal, for kids under 18yrs, to use tanning beds. How inconsistent that they can get parental permission to go anyway- that would be the same as giving your kids' permission to smoke cigarettes. Tanning beds are more carcinogenic than cigarette smoking. I call them aging machines because the UVA wavelength can reach deep into your skin to destroy the elastic tissue, and stimulate lots of brown sunspots and moles to grow. Please avoid tanning beds. Spray tanning is fine
