Ear Surgery

The ear is an intricate anatomical region within the head and neck. Many disease processes are known to affect the ear; these processes can result in hearing loss on the affected side. These disease processes can present with many different signs and symptoms, with some of the more common ones being hearing loss, ear pain, ringing sounds, dizziness, and ear drainage. If you have one or more of these signs and symptoms, it is important that you be seen by an otolaryngologist for a complete and thorough evaluation. Many times these processes can be treated medically, but on occasions, surgical intervention is necessary.

Here at Northwest Face, we have a large experience in the surgical management of various ear problems. The surgical procedures offered at Northwest Face include insertion of middle-ear ventilation tubes, repair of the ear drum (tympanoplasty), mastoidectomy, ossicular chain reconstruction, and stapedectomy. The surgeries are performed in our own accredited facility on an outpatient basis with our own Anesthesiologist (Dr. Harold Branford) and a dedicated surgery team.
