Shane Keck, PA-C
Shane Keck, PA-C, obtained his master of Physician assistant degree from Wichita State University, in Wichita, Kansas. Prior to PA school, he received his bachelor's degree in Biology and Psychology from the University of Kansas. Subsequently, he worked five years in the behavioral health field prior to attending PA school.
While in PA school, his interest in dermatology was always present. He completed his graduate research project on the topic of artificial tanning and the added risks of skin cancer, as well as completing an internship at Cascade Eye & Skin Center in the Puyallup, Washington area.
Recently, he returned to the Pacific Northwest after working in cardiovascular medicine in the Kansas City area. He is happy to be returning to his true passion of dermatology. In addition to diagnosing a variety of medical dermatological conditions, he has been trained in biopsying skin lesions, assisting in Mohs surgery, as well as using Botox Cosmetic; and Cosmetic Fillers.
When asked what qualities he would describe himself as having, he considers himself as being quick, efficient, and gracious as a practitioner, who is motivated and enthusiastic. Shane looks forward to helping patients maximize skin health and appearance through diagnosis, treatment and education.
