Course Curriculum

Our program offers two different curriculums that offer incredible training for every student. Both courses will teach you in-depth knowledge of cosmetic injections. Both courses provide a deeper understanding of neuromodulators like Botox and Dysport, dermal fillers, and the primary facial areas they benefit.

You will learn how to prepare, administer, and work with the injections to provide natural, stunning results. You will be certified by working with the top cosmetic injection providers and learning advanced techniques and patient interaction.

1. Registered Nurses & Nurse Practitioners 

Registered nurses and nurse practitioners can enroll in our program to find incredible opportunities or add to their resumes. However, in some states, nurses may need a doctor to sign off on their course enrollment. 

2. Physician Assistants 

Physician Assistants are highly qualified to enroll in cosmetic injection training and are already extremely experienced in administering injections. They can add to their services or open up their clinic for cosmetic injections.

Northwest Face & Body offers two in-depth programs for medical professionals who wish to change or broaden their careers. You can find outstanding training in both beginner and advanced courses, as they contain critical information and knowledge in the field. You can expect the following from each training course:

Beginner’s Course - 10-Hour Course

Our beginner’s program teaches the fundamentals of cosmetic injections and provides a deep understanding of how different injections interact with the muscles. During this course, you will learn:

  • Fundamentals of facial anatomy, neuromodulators, dermal fillers, and their connection.
  • How dermal fillers and neuromodulators interact with the aging process and prevent wrinkles.
  • The components that are found in neuromodulators and dermal fillers.
  • How to evaluate and mark the face for various injection treatments.
  • Neuromodulators and dermal fillers functional and cosmetic treatment options.
  • How to store and prepare the injections for correct usage.
  • Hands-on practice with 30 units of Botox and 60 units of Dysport.
  • Hands-on practice with dermal fillers like Restylane and Juvederm.

Cost : $3,500

Advanced Course - 20-Hour Course

The advanced training course offers over twenty hours of curriculum and hands-on practice. It’s for those who have taken the beginner course and want to further their education. The advanced course offers more complicated techniques and treatments to help you launch your career in cosmetic injections. During this course, you will:

  • Work with advanced neuromodulators and fillers in hands-on training.
  • Gain knowledge of more advanced cosmetic treatments, neurotoxins, and dermal fillers.
  • Practice technical injections like jawline and chin augmentation, lip filler, and temple injections.
  • Learn how to work with more advanced cosmetic challenges and patients with facial asymmetry.
  • Use more challenging injection tools like cannulas.
  • Gain knowledge on the side effects of Botox and dermal fillers and how to manage them.
  • Understand the business side of cosmetic injections and gain tips on how to start your own business.
  • Hands-on practice with 30 units of Botox and 90 units of dermal filler.
  • Hands-on practice with
  • Restylane and Juvederm.

Our cosmetic training courses are held in a state-of-the-art medical facility in Seattle, Washington. The courses are in-person so that you can benefit from face-to-face learning and hands-on practice with trained professionals. For those who sign up for the fellowship program, we offer current and updated online learning so you can keep up with the latest advancements and techniques.

How Long Does It Take To Get Botox Certified?

It depends on the course you take. The beginner’s courses are ten hours of learning and hands-on training, while the advanced courses are twenty hours of learning and hands-on training.

Do I Need An Aesthetician Certification Before I Enroll In The Course?

You can enroll in our cosmetic injection training program as long as you are one of the listed medical professionals. However, we do teach aestheticians as well. 

Do I Need Insurance To Practice Botox?

Yes, every medical provider needs malpractice insurance to perform cosmetic injections. Luckily, there are many easy and affordable options you can choose from before beginning your aesthetic treatment practice.

What Other Aesthetic Treatments Can I Perform As A Medical Professional?

You can become certified in laser treatments like skin lasering or laser hair removal. Additionally, you can add chemical peels or skin tightening through other certifications.

What Are The Differences Between The Beginner & Advanced Courses?

The beginner’s course offers in-depth training on the basics of neuromodulator and dermal filler injections, while the advanced course dives into more technical methods and treatments.

Will I Get An Injection Certification Upon Completion?

Yes, you will receive an injection certification upon completion of either course. You can also take the written and oral exams to receive a title and register for the fellowship program.

How Many Hours Are Dedicated To Hands-On Training?

It depends on the course you enroll in, but both courses provide equal time for both learning and hands-on practice.

Are Models Provided?

Yes, models are provided during your cosmetic injection training. However, if you wish to bring a friend as a model, you can register them before your training course begins.

Do You Offer Injection Training For Clinics Or Doctor Offices? 

Currently, we do not offer any specials on injection training for entire clinics or doctor offices. We do teach any qualified medical professional from clinics or doctor offices who enroll.
