How Many Times Can You Get A VI Peel?
A VI Peel is a medium strength peel that is considered one of the gold standards for treating many skin concerns including acne, wrinkles, and sun damage. Unlike other medium strength peels, skin peeling is usually minimal and only lasts around three days. Patients will experience different degrees of peeling. With this in mind, many patients ask, “How many times can you get a VI Peel?”
Like with most other light and medium depth chemical peels, patients can usually safely undergo them every four to six weeks. Most of the time a master esthetician will recommend doing three or four peels at these intervals before going to more occasional peels. However, for most people, it is perfectly safe to get a VI Peel every four to six weeks.
