Breast augmentation surgery is typically a fairly quick procedure, often taking less than two hours and sometimes less than one hour. However, occasionally, a patient may benefit from or want additional breast enhancement such as a breast lift to correct breast sagging. How much time does this add and how long does breast augmentation with lift take?
Like with all procedures, it will vary based on the patient’s starting anatomy and goals. A breast lift does involve more excision and surgery than a breast augmentation. However, it can be performed in between two and four hours depending on the patient. For some, it could take as long as six hours though this is fairly rare.
After meeting with you for a consultation, Dr. Allegra can provide you with a more accurate time estimate based on your anatomy and what is necessary to provide you with the results you want. The breast lift will impact surgical time more than the breast augmentation.
