The Rundown On Xeomin

Xeomin belongs to a class of injectables known as neuromodulators, or neurotoxins. This also includes BOTOX, Dysport, and Jeuveau. All of these injectables use Botulinum toxin to temporarily limit muscle movements to treat dynamic wrinkles and prevent static wrinkles. It is an option for those allergic to components of other neurotoxins or those who have developed a tolerance to BOTOX. Unlike BOTOX and Dysport, Xeomin does not contain any protein additives. This makes it more difficult to create antibodies against, which is what contributes to building immunity against other neurotoxins. It also means that Xeomin does not require refrigeration.

Like BOTOX, Xeomin also has various medical applications including treating muscle and movement disorders. Due to it’s unique formulation and purification, it is an ideal choice for many looking for a solution to these conditions. Xeomin can also treat migraines and hyperhidrosis.

Xeomin injections are administered similarly to BOTOX. They are quick, nearly painless, and can treat multiple areas of the face. Some of the places neuromodulators are used include:

Does It Last Longer Than BOTOX?

This is disputed and likely to vary from patient to patient. Some may see longer lasting results from Xeomin, while others may see longer lasting results from BOTOX. Ultimately, our injectors suggest trying out the various neuromodulator options to find the one that provides the best results. For those who have developed a tolerance to BOTOX, results from Xeomin will definitely be better and last longer.
